Co-Founder
David Hadlock is a principal at Longitude Capital, bringing over two decades of real estate and lending experience. He previously founded Hadlock Law Offices, one of the Northeast’s largest residential real estate practices, where his team advised on more than 75,000 transactions.
At Longitude Capital, David leads strategic development and deal structuring, drawing on his background as a developer, investor, and private lender. His expertise ensures that offerings like 100% financing and gap funding are delivered with conservative underwriting and investor-focused discipline.
JIM COPELL
Co-Founder
Jim Copell brings a trader’s discipline and a builder’s toolkit to Longitude Capital. He began on the NYSE floor in the 1990s, rose to Vice President at Bear Stearns, and built a global network of RIAs, broker-dealers, consultants, and pension funds.
As founder and CEO of Copell Financial for over two decades, Jim launched funds with Bramshill Investments, Clifton, Larson, Allen, and LoCorr, and licensed the first Pass-Through Index to GraniteShares. He also created Investors Grow, a financial-literacy platform used in 50 countries.
Jim’s career has always focused on uniting capital with innovation—turning ideas into products and products into durable value.

John Copell has been a licensed mortgage professional in Massachusetts and Rhode Island for nearly 30 years. He has led top-performing branches, held senior roles at Custom Financial, Norcom, Fairway Mortgage, and Sunwest, and built a reputation as a trusted advisor to investors and originators alike.
Since 2020, as founder of Flexible Capital Solutions, John has focused on commercial finance, structuring private deals, DSCR loans, and hard money loans across New England. His career reflects a consistent theme—aligning capital with opportunity and delivering results that endure.
